Archivo is the accumulation of years of studying fashion and business put to the test.

Develop a comprehensive business plan for a new retail concept that demonstrated the feasibility of launching a fashion boutique and gallery in Richmond, Virginia. The project required creating a realistic strategy covering brand identity, market research, financial planning, operations, marketing, and long-term growth while presenting a compelling vision to stakeholders.

Working alongside my teammates, Jaylen and Jerson, I helped develop Archivo, a concept inspired by retailers like Dover Street Market that combines contemporary fashion with an art gallery experience. Over the course of the semester, we researched Richmond's retail market, identified a strategic storefront location, analyzed competitors, and defined our target audience.
From there, we built every major component of the business from the ground up. This included developing the brand identity, designing marketing campaigns and promotional materials, creating financial projections, estimating startup costs and operating expenses, planning staffing structures and salaries, outlining vendor and artist collaborations, determining inventory strategy, and establishing day-to-day operational procedures. The final deliverable was a 50+ page business plan that presented Archivo as a launch-ready retail concept supported by research and realistic financial planning.
