THE ASK

We were asked to write a final paper that analyzed current consumer behaviors and cultural shifts to forecast future trends in fashion. The paper needed to include supporting data, visuals, and real-world examples, as well as a clear projection of a trend's potential impact on the industry. We were expected to tie in macro and micro trends, explain our research process, and show how these insights could influence future collections or branding strategies.

SKILLS USED

I began by identifying a macro trend I found compelling and researched how it was influencing fashion, culture, and consumer behavior. I gathered insights from articles, fashion reports, social media patterns, and industry experts. From there, I narrowed it down to a specific micro trend that brands could apply more immediately. I supported my findings with visuals, case studies, and examples, then organized my paper to clearly guide the reader through the forecasting journey—from observation to prediction. I made sure to reference all sources and refined the paper through multiple drafts.
